Chania International Photo (CIP) Festival 2020 took place in the Mediterranean Centre of Architecture at the Grand Arsenal of the Venetian Harbour in Chania. 304 photographers from 77 countries exhibited their photos after participating in an international competition. I had the pleasure to be nominated to participate in the 3rd CIP festival with my photo from the breathtaking Godafoss waterfall in Iceland!

Institut francais de Thessalonique is hosting the “Paris au quotidien” exhibition with photos of everyday life in Paris and I will participate with a photo!  The photograph was taken in Luxembourg Gardens, or Jardin du Luxembourg, Paris, France. It is located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris and it was created in 1612 by Marie de’ Medici, the widow of King Henry IV of France, for a new residence she constructed, the Luxembourg Palace.

Opening is on Thursday 22th of September at 20:00. So if it happens you to be in Thessaloniki, Greece why not stop by! Exhibition’s duration is from September 20th to September 30th.

Twenty photographers praise the greatness of nature in Blank Wall Gallery.

Blank Wall Gallery will host landscapes taken by international photographers from around the world.

Color and black and white landscapes draw the viewer’s attention and do not leave anyone indifferent, since through them the greatness of nature and the contradictions that make up this planet are displayed.

The photographers have their own style and their own techniques each, to present the theme, but the ultimate feeling that the photographs leave us with is one. Admiration and awe for the beauty found in nature and a sense that people are very small in front of it, even though we tend to forget it. The power of nature is what captivates and enchants the viewer. Even in photographs where the human presence is evident, the style of photography is ultimately influenced by the landscape and not by the human intervention on it.
